Today NTU «KhPI» is one of leading scientific and research complexes of Ukrainian system of higher education. The scientific activity in our University is characterized by continual significant results that are directed to solve the actual problems of economics, to develop and implement high tech, new designs of machines and the equipment with high engineering-and-economical performance. There are about 40 scientific schools in our University which are recognized in Ukraine and quite beyond its limits. The scientific potential of the National Technical University is based on a staff which includes 194 Doctors of Science and Professors, more than 800 Candidates of Science and Associate Professors.
